Milan 2015: Iridescence Still Important: Iridescence remains an important and impactful finish for mirrors, furniture and decorative accessories. Pairing with pale wood updates this popular finish, lessening its synthetic quality. Shimmer Collection: Produced for Glas Italia, Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola’s striking iridescent mirrors and glass furniture pieces are cleverly coloured and finished for multidimensional, shimmering effects. Low tables, consoles and shelves are available in opaque or transparent glass, or with a micro-dot pattern overlay. Halo Glow: Rotterdam-based Studio WM enhances its purple-tinted, iridescent Lucent mirror with a contrasting backlit yellow light and an inner ring of white light. Its round shape becomes elevated and emits a halo glow. Mirror Play: Dichroic glass and mirrors are combined or cleverly constructed into prisms that play with our perception of depth and emphasise refractive colour changes.
