100% post-consumer recycled aluminum from reclaimed aircraft parts. This material is free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and is 100% recyclable. The reclaimed aluminum is melted, cut into tiles, and then cut to size with a tile cutter. Installation can be made with a thin coating of silicone adhesive. For an exterior installation, silicone adhesive and 3M VHB (very high bonding) tape are recommended. The tiles are not pre-sealed and aluminum can tarnish or slightly discolor if not sealed or waxed. Sealing is not required and grouting is optional. They come in 3 x 6, 3 x 12 and 6 x 12 in (76 x 152, 76 x 305 and 152 x 305 mm) sizes with a thickness of 1/8 in (3 mm). Applications include walls and backsplashes.
