Off-Grid Office Dutch start-up KantoorKaravaan has started offering mobile office spaces for digital nomads to work in the middle of nature. The solar-powered caravans are off-grid, but not offline: they come complete with mobile internet and enough battery power to enable digital workers to stay connected. They also include an espresso machine and a small biomass cooker for preparing food. Beyond work, the company encourages users to make the most of their surroundings: “Step out into the wilderness, go hiking, plant a tree, chop wood for tonight’s campfire or take part in our regular meditation sessions.”
