Cur: Wearable Pain Relief Californian tech start-up Cur is developing the world’s first pain-relieving wearable for the consumer market. The device uses pulses of electricity to stimulate nerves and muscles to provide relief from chronic pain. Cur sticks to the body with adhesive bands in bold primary colours, complementing the company’s website, which presents Cur almost as a fashionable accessory. The company is currently running a $50,000 crowdfunding campaign and plans to start shipping the device in winter 2015.
