Iris Van Herpen: Crystallization Dress Dutch designer Iris Van Herpen has joined forces with photographer Nick Knight and Daphne Guinness to create a dress based on the shapes of splashed water live on fashion film website SHOWstudio. Knight used high-speed cameras to photograph Guinness being splashed with black and clear water. These images were then used as references by Van Herpen to create the unique Crystallization dress, using a combination of traditional handicrafts and futuristic technology such as 3D printing.
