Natural fibers and leaves that are combined into a rigid panel that can be used as a decorative veneer. 5% binder is used to agglomerate the materials that include alpine grass, hay flowers, reed and straw. This naturally textured (from the forms of the leaves or fibers) and fragranced sheet is 100% biodegradable, and collected from alpine meadows 1400 m (4600 ft) above sea level in a Tyrolean National Park. The sheet is created by heating and pressing the materials onto a suitable substrate such as high-pressure laminate, any timber panel or MDF panel. Flex form boards and metal plate substrates are available on demand. Standard panel sizes are 1250 x 2500 mm (49.2 x 98.4) and up to 1500 x 3000 mm (59 x 118 in), with the thickness of panel depending up substrate chosen with a range of 2 – 50 mm (0.08 – 2 in) and a standard for MDF of 19 mm (0.75 in) . The colors of the surface of the panel are dependent upon the type of natural fiber and leaf chosen. The type of surface material may be specified from the following list: agave, aloe vera leaf, birch leaf, bonsai, nettle leaf, date palm leaf, spelt husk, sweet chestnut, peanut, ash, fan palm leaf, fig tree branches, cactus pear, spruce needles, flax, flax, barley husk, hemp, hazelnut, hazelnut shell, sorghum husk, coconut fiber, bluebottle, cork, larch or pine needles, alfalfa, macadamia nutshell, olive wood, pecan nut, pistachio nutshell, rice husk, calendula, cattail, rose, rose leaf, spring barley, osier stake, wheat bran, wheat husk, Swiss pine fiber, plum and others. The raw surface of the pressed panel can also be coated with a durable clear layer for better resistance to scratching and wear. This will reduce the natural fragrance of the panel. The panels are used for furniture, wall and door panels, construction of exhibition stands and showrooms and high quality packaging.
