In ‘Fish Leather’ Nienke Hoogvliet explains the process of tanning fish skins without using any chemicals.
After her project ‘RE-SEA ME’ (2015) she decided to share the recipe so more people can work with this waste material and can get inspired by the beauty of it. Nienke also shares her vision on the current fishing industry and sustainability and tries to raise awareness for certain issues around this theme.
