The NCS Block 2050 has one fan block for every hue representing all NCS Standard colours.
The nine blocks offer easy to fan out colour samples sized for good colour judgement and edge-to-edge colour comparisons. The NCS Block hue contains the full range of NCS 2050 Standard colours and is used to advantage when combining colours that match in hue or work in contrast.
Thanks to the logic of the NCS System it is visually easy to identify and compare colours that are related to each other, based on NCS nuance such as blackness, whiteness, chromaticness and NCS lightness values.

Since NCS is based on how we perceive colour visually, the system allows you to describe colour on all imaginable surfaces.
