Solid surfacing material made of 75% SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) certified wood chips and 25% acrylic resin. This rigid panel is made through a proprietary infusion process that gives the material high durability (Janka ball test rating of 4,589 lbs) and abrasion resistance. The material can be worked with standard wood working tools and is available unfinished or finished with caatalyzed urethane and/or a polyurethane coating. It can be colored with conventional wood stains in a wide range of colors. The material comes in sheet form in sizes 3 x 3 ft (0.91 x 0.91 m), and in 5 or 8 in (127 or 203.2 mm) wide planks with lengths 2, 4 and 6 ft (0.61, 1.22, and 1.83 m). It also can come as 12 x 12 in or 12 x 24 in (305 x 305 mm or 305 x 610 mm) square tiles and in two thicknesses ½ and 3/8 in (12.7 and 9.5 mm). Applications include wall panels, countertops, furniture, flooring strips and tiles, and cabinet doors.
